Fugitive caught in Larisa after 10 years on the run

A 33-year-old convict, who was released from prison on furlough 10 years ago but never returned, was nabbed by police late Wednesday in the town of Larissa, central Greece.

The convict, an Albanian national, was serving an 11-year sentence in a prison on the island of Corfu when he took leave in August 2007 but decided not to return.
