Cannabis racket busted
Greek Police officers have arrested 25 suspected members of two cannabis-smuggling rackets believed to be bringing large quantities of the drug into Greece from Albania, sources said Wednesday.
Police were conducting raids in Athens and other parts of the country Wednesday in a bid to apprehend more suspects.
Officers said they had confiscated large quantities of cannabis, speedboats, road vehicles and large amounts of cash, as well as cordoning off a cannabis farm, whose location was not disclosed.
