Two Turkish jets violate Greek air space

A pair of Turkish F-16s violated Greek national air space in the Aegean on Wednesday afternoon, a new transgression following a brief lull in activity.

The two jets entered the Athens Flight Information Region shortly before 3.30 p.m., flying over the islets of Anthropofagoi and Fournoi at an altitude of 19,000 feet.

The jets left Greek air space shortly before 4 p.m.
