Pop singer acquitted of money laundering charges

An Athens court of appeals acquitted Cypriot pop singer Michalis Hatziyiannis of money laundering charges on Thursday.

Hatziyiannis had been accused of legalizing undeclared revenues by transferring the sum of 5.3 million euros to Cyprus in 2010-11.
