Police thwarts group protest at Italian embassy
Greek police stopped a group of unknown individuals from holding a protest at the Italian embassy in central Athens on Monday evening.
About 15 people arrived with motorcycles and a car near the embassy and hung a banner with a message on the collapse of the bridge in the city of Genoa, which killed 43 people last week.
Policemen stationed nearby saw their moves and chased them away.
