Woman killed in train accident in western Athens
An unidentified woman was killed on Monday after being hit by a train on a level crossing in Sepolia, western Athens.
The train had been serving the Thessaloniki-Athens route when the accident occurred.
The woman was transferred to the Nikaia General Hospital where medics confirmed her dead on arrival.
Police were investigating the circumstances of the incident.
