Inmate dies at Korydallos Prison

A 27-year-old man was found dead in his cell at Attica’s maximum-security Korydallos Prison on Christmas Day.

According to initial reports, the 27-year-old, who had entered a program run by the Greek Organization Against Drugs (OKANA), died of heart-related causes.

A coroner’s report was expected.
