Two police vans used to transport detainees…

Two police vans used to transport detainees were slightly damaged late on Sunday when three youths on motorcycles threw petrol bombs at a police transfers department on 65 Kavvadia Street, in the Athens district of Patissia. Nobody was injured during the attack, which took place quarter of an hour before midnight. The arsonists all escaped. The town, close to Ioannina, is about 40 kilometers from the Albanian border in an area which is a point of passage for gangs smuggling drugs, weapons or prostitutes from Albania into Greece.
