Crete jolted by 4.8 quake

The island of Crete was rattled by a 4.8 magnitude earthquake on Saturday. 

According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute, the quake occurred at 1.22 p.m. and its epicenter was at the eastern end of the island, 8 kilometers southeast of the town of Siteia.

Its depth was estimated at 20.5 kilometers
