Identity of child molester made public

The identity and photos of a 37-year-old man from Hania on the island of Crete who is accused of sexually molesting minors were made public Thursday by the Hellenic Police (ELAS) in accordance with a prosecutor’s order.

According to ELAS, the aim is “to protect society as a whole, minors and vulnerable groups” and to cast public shame on such acts. The suspect has denied the accusations.
