PM to brief president on pandemic
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is due to brief President Katerina Sakellaropoulou on the coronavirus pandemic Monday.
State broadcaster ERT said that Mitsotakis will be presenting Sakellaropoulou with details provided by experts regarding the course of the virus from a medical standpoint, as well as discussing the impact on the Greek economy of the lockdown and the government’s response to this.
The midday briefing will reportedly be the first of a regular monthly discussion between the prime minister and the president.
