Greece responds to Turkish warning
Greece has responded to Turkey’s warning over Greek plans to extend the country’s western territorial waters to 12 nautical miles from six.
“The exercise of Greece’s sovereign rights is not subject to any form of Turkish veto,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement translated from the Greek.
The same statement urged Turkey to realize that, like all other states across the world, it is too bound by the rules of international law.
