Akar says Turkey supports dialogue in visit to Kas district, opposite Kastellorizo
Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar, accompanied by commanders of the Turkish Armed Forces, visited Antalya's Kas region on Sunday, local media reported.
During his visit, Akar said Turkey supports peace and dialogue “if our wishes and demands are fulfilled.”
The region is just opposite the Greek island of Kastellorizo, which was visited today by Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
