Frisky Greeks second in lovemaking poll

Greeks are the second most sexually active people in the world, says an Internet survey published yesterday. They claim to have sex 133 times a year, just behind the French who topped the poll by saying they made love 137 times annually. The average, in a survey of 350,000 people conducted by condom makers Durex, was 103 times. Greeks are also above average when it comes to foreplay, spending 20 minutes on it. Britons take the most time, with 22.5 minutes. Despite their efforts, only 47 percent of Greeks achieve orgasm each time they have sex, as opposed to 61 percent of Italians who reach climax. Sex toys have not caught on in Greece, it appears, as only 12 percent of respondents owned a vibrator. Greek men are reluctant to try new forms of contraception, with only 44 percent saying they would be willing to take a male contraceptive pill compared to a global average of 59 percent.
