Europe’s largest automated underground car park was opened yesterday in Thessaloniki by Environment and Public Works Minister Giorgos Souflias. The car park, which can hold 1,100 vehicles, is part of a plan to eventually build 29 parking spaces holding a total of 12,000 cars in the Thessaloniki area and help relieve traffic congestion.
