UN special representative Alvaro de Soto (c) said after his meeting with Turkish-Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash (l) and President Glafcos Clerides (r) that yesterday’s meeting ‘was a very encouraging start.’ The three will now be meeting on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for the foreseeable future, starting next Monday. Denktash said he and Clerides had a «very good, very good» meeting.
