Delivery drivers and couriers…
Delivery drivers and couriers ride their motorcycles, decked with flags of various colors, past the Parliament building on Syntagma Square, as part of a protest over their work conditions. The protesters, who included food delivery drivers, were demanding better pay and conditions – including fixed work hours, the payment of overtime and for their employers to pay contributions toward the drivers’ national insurance. Many of these delivery people ride bikes without a license.
