Surveys are almost complete
Almost all the surveys have been carried out, with only those of Psyrri, Metaxourgeio and Thiseion still pending. The study for Koumoundourou Square is being re-examined, as archaeological trenches dug beforehand have ruled out the sinking of part of the square. In addition, a large proportion of the planned works have been put out to tender, 17 in the last three months alone, budgeted at 13 billion drachmas (38 million euros). Two works are complete: the pedestrianization of Dionysiou Areopagitou and the reconfiguration of Aghiou Constantinou Street, which is accompanied by the restoration of the building facades from the National Theater to Omonia and the broadening of sidewalks. Back to work but only in teaching role
