A baby girl writhes and screams in the hands of Archbishop Christodoulos ahead of being plunged into an urn of water during its baptism yesterday inside the Athens Korydallos Prison’s women’s section. The head of the Church of Greece baptized five babies which live in the prison together with their convict mothers, in a ceremony organized by the Athens Bar Association. «It is true that we received a telegram from Lebanon referring to al Qaeda detainees in Lebanon who revealed that they were planning a terrorist attack in Greece,» Papandreou told reporters. «We are on the alert.»
