Myconos child porn arrest

The manager of a nightclub on the resort island of Myconos was charged yesterday with selling child pornography over the Internet, after being arrested with scores of incriminating images, including photographs of unsuspecting toddlers playing naked on the beach. The 42-year-old gay man, whose name was not made public, had allegedly been posting child pornography for the past two years on a website that attracted paying visitors. The material allegedly included pictures and videos of the suspect engaged in indecent acts with children aged under 10. Other adults, whom police are now seeking to identify, were depicted in similar activities. Police said the suspect admitted to approaching his victims on islands – particularly Myconos and Icaria. He allegedly paid some to be pictured with him, but many of the children were surreptitiously photographed during play. Officers who raided his Myconos home seized scores of photographs, notes recording his alleged income from the sale of pornographic material, and half a kilo of marijuana.
