Passengers gaze at the wake left by a ferry leaving the Aegean island of Andros yesterday. With the tourist season entering its busiest period, Deputy Tourism Minister Anastassios Liaskos said figures for this year were encouraging; compared to 2004, 17 percent more visitors came to Greece during Easter. Meanwhile, an independent report yesterday advised Greece to attract more Russian tourists.
