Flying or fleeing?

Flying or fleeing? This pair of swans, seen yesterday at a tributary of the Pinios River in the area of Platykambos in Thessaly, central Greece, defies the heavy pollution of the area due to industrial waste, causing thousands of fish to die. Many other swans have fallen ill and the river’s surface is covered with a thick green slime. A coroner representing the Grigorakos family said toxicology tests were being done to help determine the cause of death, but that according to an initial examination Grigorakos appeared to have consumed a large amount of alcohol.
