Dozens of students stage a sit-down protest on Syngrou Avenue, one of Athens’s main roads, yesterday to protest against the government’s recent decision to house its new press headquarters at a building close to Panteion University. The students argue that the building had been previously set aside for the university’s use and have scheduled another demonstration today outside the Education Ministry.
