Pensioners demonstrated in central Athens yesterday as they marched toward the Economy and Finance Ministry calling for an increase in their monthly retirement pay. The pensioners have requested a meeting with Economy and Finance Minister Giorgos Alogoskoufis before the 2006 budget is submitted to Parliament later this month.
