A Muslim immigrant living in Cyprus prays yesterday in the Omeriye mosque, formerly the Medieval Augustinian Monastery of Saint Marie, on the third day of the Eid al-Adha, which commemorates the prophet Abraham’s sacrifice of his own son to God. At least 345 Muslim pilgrims were killed yesterday during a stampede in Mina, Saudi Arabia.
