Two banks in Thessaloniki…

Two banks in Thessaloniki were damaged by arson attacks early yesterday. A device containing four cooking gas canisters was set off outside a branch of the National Bank of Greece in the city center. A firebomb was also thrown at a branch of Emporiki Bank. The two attacks caused damages totaling 4,000 euros. Nobody was injured.
