Workers from Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling (CCHBC) are watched by well-equipped riot police as they demonstrate outside the company’s offices yesterday in Metamorphosis, northern Athens. The demonstrators also blocked off the Athens-Lamia national highway for a few minutes to protest at a planned headcount at the company. CCHBC said on Wednesday that nearly all employees affected by the restructuring have either accepted voluntary redundancy or alternative job positions.
