Visitors to an exhibition…
Visitors to an exhibition at the Athens Concert Hall see their own reflections yesterday in an octagonal mirror based on an idea in the writings of Leonardo da Vinci. The mirror forms part of a show which features a series of machines designed by the Renaissance artist and inventor, and runs through May 7. It is the third event dedicated to Leonardo to open in Greece this year, following an event in Patras, which is Europe’s Cultural Capital for 2006, and an interactive show at Athens’s Foundation of the Hellenic World, which features reproductions of machines designed by the Italian artist and which runs through March 31.
