Young children try their hand at some artwork at Aristotelous Square in central Thessaloniki yesterday. The drawing exercise was part of a series of events organized by the Education Ministry and local municipal officials aimed at increasing environmental awareness. The program, ‘Beautiful and Clean Thessaloniki – Everyone’s Responsibility,’ is running for the seventh straight year. About 2,500 primary and secondary students from the city are taking part in events.
