The forestry service and hunting association joined forces yesterday to provide feed for the birds spending this difficult winter in the lagoon at Lourou, Mesolongi, in western Greece. Hunting was banned across Greece last week because of the snow and ice. The ban ends today but local forestry services are empowered to extend it in their regions.
