Monday The Health Ministry is holding a blood donation drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at its main building on Aristotelous Street in central Athens. The appeal is being organized by the ministry’s Greek Association of Blood Donors, which says that blood banks run low in the summer and that it would like people to give blood before going on holiday. The Panhellenic Federation of Employees in Petroleum Products, Refineries and the Chemical Industry is holding a press conferences in Thessaloniki.
