How European drivers let off steam
Greek drivers let off steam more than other European drivers (78 percent) by verbal abuse. The Dutch let off steam more than other European drivers (73 percent) by chasing other drivers who annoy them on the road. The British are more likely to express their irritation with other drivers through gestures (69 percent). Luxembourgers flash their lights more than other Europeans (68 percent) to express their annoyance at other drivers. The Polish are most likely of all Europeans (47 percent) to block the road to someone who has annoyed them. The Polish are also more likely than other Europeans (11 percent) to stop other drivers and fight with them. Greeks come third highest in the same category (9 percent).
