Three residents…

Three residents from the village of Karytsa, located on Mount Kissavos in central Greece, collect sweet chestnuts in the local woods yesterday. Almost all the residents of the area are involved in collecting the chestnuts, which are a valuable source of income for locals. The nuts are also used in a number of rural cooking recipes. Many chestnuts will end up being roasted by street vendors in cities and towns later this year.
