A protest banner strung up yesterday alongside the statue of Adamantios Korais, outside Athens University, called for the release of convicted November 17 terror group member Savvas Xeros. Around 50 people, who occupied the university’s central building on Thursday night, were still there yesterday, demanding that Xeros be released due to health problems. The protesters had caused no damage, dean Christos Kittas told Kathimerini.
