Archbishop Ieronymos (r) met the Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos in Athens yesterday. In comments to reporters, Ieronymos seemed to distinguish the role of the Church from that of the state. ‘Our role is not to rule but to minister,’ he said.
