Athens yesterday honored Europe Day at the Zappeion Hall, where EU candidate states hosted information kiosks in an exhibition open to the public. Organized by the Athens offices of the European Commission and European Parliament, the event aims to encourage citizens’ involvement in discussions on the future of European integration. Last year 12 of the 600 people examined were found to have melanomas, compared to 18 out of 1,500 the year before.
