At noon they will hold a protest march to the Labor Ministry. The General Confederation of Greek Labor (GSEE) and the Civil Servants’ Union (ADEDY) stage a three-hour work stoppage, starting at 12.15 p.m., over social security reforms and financial demands. A demonstration will be held at 1 p.m. outside Parliament. Deputy Agriculture Minister Costas Kiltidis visits Ancient Olympia to inspect anti-flood works. Employees of the Bank of Greece join the three-hour work stoppages, starting at 12.15 p.m., called by GSEE and ADEDY. Communist Party (KKE) General Secretary Aleka Papariga visits Thessaloniki. The Communist-affiliated union, PAME, holds a demonstration at 6 p.m. in Omonia Square. Friday The Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA) holds a three-day convention at the Peace and Friendship Stadium. To Sunday. The Communist Party (KKE) begins a two-day meeting in Athens of European communist parties on «The new European Treaty, the Developments in European Union and the Struggle of the People’s Movement.»
