The male owner of a preschool center in central Athens was arrested for allegedly sexually molesting a 5-year-old girl, in the second such reported case to take place this year. The unidentified 45-year-old man, a Polish national, has been living in Greece for the last few years and started to run the preschool center in 2005. Police said the child’s parents notified authorities after they found blood on her clothing and noticed a change in her behavior. Police also arrested two foreign women, aged 22 and 27, employed at the preschool center, who did not have residency permits and were not qualified kindergarten teachers. The suspect has denied all charges. In January, the owner of a preschool center in Argos, eastern Peloponnese, was arrested, accused of sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl.
