Pensioners staged a demonstration through central Athens yesterday, protesting about their dwindling social security payments. The placard being carried by the man in the center reads, ‘No to their profits and our losses.’ One elderly man was taken to the hospital for first-aid treatment after passing out during yesterday’s protest.
