Contributing to a better future in Afghanistan
A member of the Hellenic Composite Battalion in Afghanistan (TESAF) embraces a flock of children in Kabul yesterday after delivering a consignment of humanitarian aid to their school. The school is attended by some 250 deaf children. Greece’s contingent in Afghanistan also comprises dozens of engineers who are involved in rebuilding roads and other infrastructure in the war-torn country.
