Child porn charges for shipyard worker
A shipyard worker has been arrested near Athens on suspicion of running a website based around a fictitious family that abused a young child and which allowed visitors to view indecent images of youngsters. Police said that the 28-year-old, who works at a shipyard in Skaramangas, west of Athens, posted imaginary profiles of a 44-year-old woman, her 24-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old granddaughter on a website called «Dream Family.» He claimed that the mother and daughter allowed other adults to sexually abuse the young girl. A search of his house led to officers, who were acting on information collected by the police’s electronic crimes squad, seizing six hard drives, three portable hard drives and a computer that contained images and videos of children between 6 and 10 years old being abused.
