Thessaloniki metro workers break through
Italian and Greek workers hold up their national flags to celebrate the arrival of a tunnel-boring machine at the first station on Thessaloniki’s metro route, at the city’s Aristotle University. Deputy Infrastructure, Transport and Networks Minister Yiannis Magriotis congratulated workers on completing the first step of a 9.6-kilometer metro route.
