Thessaloniki tree under guard
A police bus is seen next to the Christmas tree in Thessaloniki’s Aristotelous Square yesterday. Authorities in the northern port city have been guarding the tree, a traditional Greek ship and a nativity scene that are set up in the square every year. Despite the security, a doll representing the baby Jesus was stolen from the square the two previous years.
