Closing down but not just for summer
A woman walks past a shoe store in central Athens yesterday displaying a sign informing customers that it is closing down permanently. The Confederation of Greek Commerce (ESEE) said on Monday that 17 percent of retail outlets in the city center had closed down this year. On Stadiou Street, this figure rose to 25 percent.
