In the last warmup game for both teams before the start of the World Basketball Championship in Turkey on Saturday, the USA dominated Greece 87-59. It was Greece’s first defeat in the series of friendly matches it has played before the Worlds but it was likely of more concern to coach Jonas Kazlauskas that center Sofoklis Schortsanitis, a key national team player, sprained his ankle in the pre-game warmup.
