A worker at the empty lot…

A worker at the empty lot where the World Trade Center stood until a year ago today, looks at a photograph of the Twin Towers on a fence near the names of some 2,800 people who died in the terrorist attacks in New York City on September 11, 2001. Today, the spot will be on the minds of people around the world as memorial ceremonies are held for the victims. A church service and other memorials will be held in Athens.
