The two big dangers

Two things could throw Greece into political turmoil and lead to destabilization: irrational demands and pressure from the troika and traps set up by certain people for the government to fall into.

Our lenders understand the country well enough by now and in the eventuality that they push Greek society and the political system too far they are completely aware of the full extent of the consequences.

There are also those who wish to undermine the current government by any possible means, either in the name of personal ambition or under the pretext of ideological principles and safeguarding people’s interests. They clearly have absolutely no plan for the day after a major political crisis. That’s the sad thing – the fact that there are political powers and leaders on the national political scene who are only thinking of their own interests.

Have they ever considered that a possible realization of their own ambitions could only be achieved along with the ruination of the country or is it that they simply don’t care?
