TRIPARTITE MEETING: During two meetings yesterday between the foreign ministers of three Balkan states (Greece, Turkey, Yugoslavia) in Athens, a general review was made of the international situation, including the question of the «peace attack» that the Soviets have launched. NATIONALISTS AGAINST INDUSTRIALISTS: The Association of Nationalist Bootmakers has issued an announcement claiming that the boots provided by industrialists for the charity «The Soldier’s Shirt» are useless and that this is mainly due to the use of poor machinery. EXISTENTIALISTS’ EXCURSION: On Sunday (July 12), the sixth excursion to be held by the existentialists is taking place in Schinias, near Marathon. The group will depart at 7 a.m. from their famous shack (Editor’s note: belonging to the famous Simos) at 29 Sarri Street. There is no charge for the excursion as long as every person brings a lady friend. According to the existentialists, a lady friend includes grandmothers. Along for the ride will be a complete jazz orchestra and a good time is expected to be had by all. RAILWAY: All those who travel with the Greek State Railways (SEK) are asked to be aware of the fact that there is not much room in the «automotrice» for luggage. Each passenger is allowed to bring only one suitcase weighing no more than 20 kilograms.
