Justice under threat

Those who work within the Greek justice system have been the victims of an increasing number of violent attacks carried out by extremist elements.

There are those who generally agree with the decisions reached by the Greek judiciary and of course there are others who regularly disagree with the legal system’s verdicts and points of view.

There are also those who appear to be highly critical of the justice system in cases of excess, on the one hand, as well as in cases where the system appears to be bearing no results, on the other.

These kinds of feelings are legitimate.

What is not legitimate, however, is the justice system being targeted in a violent manner by whoever and for whatever reason.

This kind of dangerous behavior ultimately threatens the very foundations of the Greek state and this is why it must be stopped.
