Say no to violence
The verbal abuse of politicians and other public figures has become quite routine during the crisis years in this country.
SYRIZA, now Greece’s coalition leader, was among those who encouraged this kind of behavior and took advantage of the phenomenon for political gains.
Now it’s the leftist party’s turn to get a taste of its own strategy and realize that – pseudo-political – hooliganism knows no boundaries and is colorblind.
Absolutely no one has the right to applaud violent incidents, no matter what the reason.
No neighborhood can be allowed to become an off-limits zone, an area requiring some kind of ideological or other type of “passport” in order for people to be able to visit.
The phenomenon of tolerating violence must stop, no matter who is targeted.
